Soccer Kids Shoes

Can one become professional soccer player starting after 17 age.?

Many people have told me that i have soccer talent but i haven't done anything to develop it to maximum level.
Whenever i have played(school team,local team,friends) everyone have been saying that i am fast and that i have talent.
When i was a little kid my mother was thinking of signing me in the local soccer team but she was afraid that i could break leg or smth.
I know that in my country which is poor and no one pays attention to young player the chances are close to 0..
I have a feeling that i cannot describe when i see the full staidum,the crowd singing,even the soccer shoes on the green grass could give me a thriling sense.
I know that if i had the chance to train from early age i would be now pro player.I don't know why i have this confidence in my but it's true ..
